I don’t know about you, but I often find myself wishing I got more games to the table or got favorites to the table more often. The Art of Boardgaming has a great solution and a couple of challenges.
Let’s hop on board and try some out. There’s the Bucketlist Challenge, the Play Through Your Collection Challenge, the 10 x 10 Challenge and the 5 x 5 Challenge (which my inner geek refers to as the Faith Challenge. Bonus points for Buffy nostalgia!)
So who wants to join in? We know we all love to gaze at our collections, snap shelfies, watch reviews, but how about getting more time gaming? Skype a game. Play a solitaire version. Customize the challenge. Just join in the fun.
Hey! I’m here! I read! But I don’t really go on Facebook anymore, nor do I really do much in the way of engaging much beyond Instagram. But you’re doing good work here, keep it up!
Hi! Glad you’re still here. Miss you guys. But love following your adventures on Instagram. I’m going to try and do more playing and reviewing. Let me know if you guys try out anything new and fun!
Sunshine and I are back in the gaming–the tiny place we moved into meant we never gamed.
Bad Gamer! Bad!
But then we found a place near us called Board Game Republic, which charges a $5 fee for a seat and access to 750+ games. We probably go now 2-3 times a week. And we’ve learned a ton of new games! Azul! Sagrada! Fluxx is at version 5! It’s been good.
That sounds great! We toyed with opening a place like that with friends of ours, but my business sense is that of a Lit/Music major 🙂
Wish there was a place like that nearby. We did try a bunch of new games at PAX Unplugged. Now we just need to sit down and play more.
