It’s TINY!  And most definitely EPIC!  Just look how much goodness is packed into one small package.  Our love for  Tiny Epic Heroes and Tiny Epic Defenders knows no bounds so when Tiny Epic Galaxies hit kickstarter we were backers immediately and dreaming of colonizing small planets everywhere in the universe.  After stalking patiently waiting for the delivery person, we dove right in.  We were fans at first play.
2nd – 2 player rating?  There is plenty of strategy and a solid amount of back and forth play during a two player round.  Game play takes about 30 minutes.   🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
S – (setup, takedown, instructions) If you’ve played any other Tiny Epic games – and I highly recommend that you do – then the setup is fairly intuitive. If you haven’t, have no fear! The instructions are clear and there are even handy-dandy reminders inside the box for colony actions. Take a few minutes, have a nice cuppa and read them through then jump right in. Setup time is less than 5 minutes. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
T  – (tactile, components, etc) Look at those gorgeous cards.  Nice heavy matte finish cards. Vivid colors.  And Rockets! There are tiny wooden meeples rockets! Small colored wooden cubes were upgraded to printed, shaped pieces and it has the feel of a much bigger game.  🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A – (action, mechanics, general gameplay) Resource management, dice, worker/rocket placement game. A good bit of strategy comes into play. Yes, the dice can work against you but you have the ability to balance that by spending resources. Each turn you roll the amount of dice your level allows you and either advance your colonization progress, land on a planet or increase your resources. Lots of choices and sometimes there’s a small learning curve before you learn which will be the best choice. Well balanced luck/skill ratio. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
R – (replay factor) Will this game get a lot of table time? Absolutely. There are so many planet cards, special mission cards and other variables that it won’t get played out easily. There’s even an mini expansion (Satellites and Super Weapons) that expands the replay factor. Add to this that it’s all boxed in a compact, sturdy package that just begs to be brought along everywhere you go. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
